It usually means the brake rotors are warped.

but i recently just got them resurfaced about 3 months ago

Actually machining rotors makes them more prone to warping. Because every time they are machined it makes them thinner reducing their ability to dissipate heat. In the shop I used to work at we routinely replaced rotors instead of machining, and we had very few come backs and/or disappointed customers.
