The front seat on the passenger's side will not adjust backward or forward. However, the back of the seat can be adjusted and it will go up and down.

    have you had this diagnosed by a good MB tech? this car
    does use a seat module, which could be the fault. all these parts come from the MB dealer, so the parts prices will not change. a good local independent MB specialty shop may be able to save you some labor. unless a shop has the correct software, they will not be able to diagnose anything.
