2001 Dodge Neon Question: what causes the automatic door locks to keep trying to lock when driving

When ever I am driving my car the automatic door locks keep clicking. Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it.
when ever I drive my car the automatic door locks keep clicking. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it. Someone said it could be the sltanatior. would that cause it.

    There is either a defective switch or door lock actuator. This will require some electrical inspection. You could pull the door lock fuse, so you don't completely short some thing out and burn it up. When the car is repaired, of course you put the fuse back.

    It is a sensor in the door I had the same problem took it to the dealer had them fixed it said it was door ajar sensor haven't had a problem

    My car used to do that, but I found the problem and it has worked correctly for years. It was a dimple in the door where the door post switch pushed against it when closed on the passenger side. I filled in the dent and it has worked fine ever since.
