Question: what causes my truck not to start when after you change the resistor on ac/heat

after changing the resistor and plug it wont start you can turn the motor when using a screwdriver to do the starter my windows wont roll up and it wont go out of park ive changed the starter ignition switch the starter 1/2 and relay fuses help my truck is on another town at my brothers home is it the computer that has been shorted out or the motherboard

    I would have to think some how a fuse or fuse link had blown during installation of the resistor. Do you have a good voltmeter and start looking for power across fuses and at the ignition switch ect......
    There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
