Question: What causes loss of power

 Rookie

lights dim speedometer and rpm guages not working-engine dies and will not restart--battery has been checked voltage is ok and it is being recharged

    Sounds like the alternator is failing and not creating enough voltage to power the vehicle. Need to have alternator tested and if faulty, replaced.
