Question: what cause the thump from my left wheel and brake when I start driveing the car

    Leave the emergency brake off over night and then try taking off in the morning and see if the thump sound is still there, perhaps the emergency brake is not releasing. It could be a brake caliper "hanging up and dragging" can you tell what side or which wheel the noise is coming from? Get this problem checked out it could cause the brake at some time to lock on and cause a more serious problem for you.
