I actually have a couple different lights coming on and off. my voltage light and my malfunction indicator light. can i really be having all of these problems at once. oh, and it's overheating. i only have 64,000 miles on my car. these lights don't stay on all the time, they go off & on at different times.

2007 Dodge Magnum Question: what about several lights coming on??

Are you actually overheating or are you seeing the gauge giving you a heads up about it? Suspect a slipping belt causing alternator and water pump problems or a failing alternator.

well, you can see some coolant on the motor where a hose goes into the radiator, but just a tiny bit. my son says we just need a new gasket (or whatever that thing is called that goes around the end of the hose to hold it on. the overheating only happened once. but all the lights, the etc light, voltage light, and malfunction light, i just don't see how we can have so many problems at once. and they come and go, sometimes no lights come on. it's kinda of a crap shoot every time you get in the car. also, my car starts up everytime, no dimming dash lights, or anything to make me think the battery or the alternator is involved. i'm stumped...is a diagnostic test my best bet??? oh, and thank you so much for your help. i really appreciate it!!

Have it diagnosed. Could have been the coolant getting in to connections and alternator causing intermittent probs.
