Wet back floorboard on 2006 Volvo S40

My back passenger floorboard is allways wet. I have no idea why. I haven't spilled anything and I have no leaks. Whats up ?

There is a technical service bulletin out for this problem. You should take it to an experienced Volvo independent shop or to the dealer to repair this problem. Refer them to TSB : Retailer Technical Journal 14545 Water intrusion into passenger compartment S40 / V50 Date: 10-7-2008 Reference: VIDA It's about a badly sealed area. They should know what to do, the TSB explains it. It's a common problem on S40-V50. Zee

You are welcome. It shouldn't. There are few panels needs to come off, some plastic retainers need to be changed and usually clear sealer material need to be applied. It really depends on the location, first they need to check. If you have an extended warranty try to submit a claim to them. Zee
