Question: were is the location for the timeing belt

i am trying to repair the timeing belt/chain but having problem locateding it and what is the best way to fix

    The timing belt is under the black plastic belt cover at the front of the engine. This engine may be an interference type engine if it is and the timing belt gets reinstalled a tooth or more may damage the valves.
