Love the Lady in the office
This is the best shop on the Monterey Peninsula. I take all my car,s there for repairs.
Went in for brake and headlight certification needed some work got it done and got my certifatcate
Couldn't locate a part for nearly 2 weeks that was recommended to be replaced. Poor communication with front office. Took a couple days to return calls. Brought vehicle in twice, once for smog, and once to take a picture of hose, then was asked to bring car in a third time and leave it at shop to figure out which hose they needed to order. One of my screw caps for valve cover was lost. Had the same experience with this shop not being able to repair my 6 liter Ford truck in order to pass smog after multiple attempts by Wayside. Took the truck to a different shop and they were able to fix truck fairly quickly. Nice family, they just couldn't help me with vehicle repairs both of the times I tried using their services.
Had a computer issue. They reset it for $175
I'm very happy with the work done on my car. It was quickly repaired and affordable. The owner is a family friend and I would definitely recommend this shop.

I am always satisfied with taking my car to Wayside, its the only garage I'll trust.
Compared to other shops I've been to, this place is very pricey. The front office staff has always been friendly and respectful & as I female I've felt more welcomed to the shop because they have females on the front counter. Beside the price, I was only dissatisfied with the lack of updates on the status of my car - I need to request time off from work or make ride arrangements, so I would be more satisfied if I was notified about the status before I had to call toward the end of the day.
I've been in before, treated well, so I came back when it was time to get my car smogged. I no doubt will again. Thanks!

Took my vehicle in and received and estimate promptly, followed by the work. Great experience.
Repairs were performed efficiently. My only complaint is that of the two hour estimate for the work (which I thought was high for replacing a pinion seal), the first 45 minutes were spent checking out the entire vehicle (air cleaner, fan belt, etc). I thought the multi-point check was supposed to be at no cost to me, but apparently is part of the two hour estimate for the pinion seal. .

I trust that the service I get is what is needed. The technicians and office management are thorough & go the extra mile to ensure my auto is safe & sound. I like the breakdown on my estimate & receipts of what has been done, or what needs to be done, along w/prices. A bit pricey, but worth the extra $$$.

This was my first visit and i was very happy with the service I (and my car) received. I will be back.
Went in for diagnostic of a coolant leak. Diagnosis was $60 something, but applied to repair cost. Found the dang plastic radiator cracked. Ordered the radiator in time to catch the morning delivery. They started the tear down right away and had the job done in the afternoon. Did not replace any hoses etc, just coolant. It was a big job, and expensive. If you want cheap work, don't come here, but done right and fast costs a bit more.

Front end brake job done oil change and filter, car safety check. Just lifted the hood for the first time since we got our car back from repair. Immediately noticed filler cap for brake fluid was set on top with an air gap being held in place by vent hose, also air filter canister two latches only one latch was buckled. These two items concern me greatly of the quality of work done to my brake system and all else that was done to the car.
I had an engine replaced done by wayside. The front office staff kept me well informed on progress. There was a problem with engine they received, however they offered a rental car and considering the difficulties they faced completed the job in a timely manner.
Fast friendly reliable.
They tuned up my Prius, did the work for a fair price and had it done on time.

We brought the car in for a brake and light inspection which was done satisfactorily.
They seem very competent and knowledgeable. I have concerns about how difficult it is to park there and how busy they are. Had to wait a bit longer for an appointment than I would have liked. But they were very nice and have good communication. They do seem overly busy. I only received an estimate and an oil change so I cannot comment on their work, per se.

We brought our vehicle in at 9:00 on Monday morning as agreed. Having not heard from Wayside Garage by 4:00 PM, we called them and were told that they had not yet gotten to the van and prepared an estimate, and since they closed at 4:30 the estimate wouldn't be ready until the following morning. The next day they emailed us the estimate, which seemed a bit high, but they had the vehicle so we told them to go ahead. The price that we ended up paying was more than we expected to pay for a brake job, based on what we have paid at other shops in the past.

I was so humanely facilitated in every way. Even waiting with other customers an balanced atmosphere of professionalism, community, friendship and trust was present. When walking to the Wharf to wait the time needed to inspect my vehicle communication was well connected. Follow up calls to make sure I was back before closing were most important, timely and appreciated. Everything was before and after explained to me in detail of the processes. It was as if my own family members who loved me took care of me. That is 'Love!' Beyond 'Politically Correctness'.

I'm happy with the service I received. The charges were clearly explained. The work (timing belt replacement) took a little longer than expected but was finished in one day. I've had no problems with my car since the work was done.
