Question: Water pump replaced

Hi, I just had the Water pump replaced as my car was leaking coolant and overheating. Now the A/C is not blowing cool air and it was working fine before I had the water pump replaced a day ago. Would you know what caused this? Should my mechanic have detected this when he replaced the water pump? Thanks.

Sounds like the shop knocked loose the wire that goes to the compressor, just take it back, it should be easy to find, it can happen.

Looks like they damaged the hose to the compressor when they replaced the water pump. They will fix it free of charge. Thanks.
