Question: water pump and belt replacements

my car has 82,000 miles..mechanic suggets I replace water pump and 7 belts...shall I do this? I have no problems with the car.

    I think he's talking about the drive belts and timing belt and its a good idea to do this because if the timing belt has never been changed and it fails while driving it will cause major internal engine damage as this is a interference engine and have him change the water pump and any other parts that he says needs replacement while it's apart.
