Drain the cooling system, loosen the bolts securing the water pump pulley to the water pump prior to removing the fan belt, remove the fan belt and water pump pulley. Disconnect the battery, remove the alternator brace across the front top of the engine and front of the alternator, remove the alternator. Remove the four bolts securing the water pump to the engine and clean the gasket surface thoroughly, use gasket sealer on the gasket and reinstall in reverse order. During pump replacement it is good idea to replace the thermostat as you will have easy access to the thermostat housing with everything else removed.
