1996 Buick Regal Q&A

1996 Buick Regal Question: WATER PUMP

THERE IS ONE BOLT HOLDING ON THE WATER PUMP THAT I AM HAVING A PROBLEM IN REMOVING. IT IS BEHIND THE POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY. ANY ADVICCE? -
Answer 1
Are there holes in the pulley that would allow access to the water pump bolt? If there are no holes to allow access the bolt, you might need to remove the steering pump pulley before the pump can be removed. -
Answer 2
i had same problem but i figured it out , you need to take off the bolts to power steering pump ( 2) and after that , just move power steering pump off to the side and you will be able to reach the bolt on the water pump. - good luck , ed - -
