2008 Ford Edge Question: water on front passenger floorboard

Question

I just bought this Edge and I noticed the floorboard being wet when it rained last week. Then I took it through the carwash and it was wet again. I do have the extended car warranty, I really hope that it covers this.

if you park under a tree you may have debrie on the firewall under the hood that has your cowl drain blocked. raise your hood and be sure that the area between the firewall and windshield are clear and at edges were the fenders and hood come together. recheck if that isn't the problem you can have someone run a water hose around your windshield with someone inside looking for water to leak. If that does you have a bad seal around the windshield

If your under 36,000 miles it should be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty.
