Question: water leak when rains

Question

Visitor, 3.4L V6, Damascus, MD, December 30, 2010, 08:30

I have a severe water leak coming from behind the dash area somewhere(the dash is curled at both the top by the windshield, and bottom, like it has gotten wet alot)The water runs down the passenger side by the fusebox and onto the passenger floor. 2 inches of it. I tried to recreate the problem by spraying with my water hose, nothing. All this makes a ticking sound happen, which I am gussing are the wires getting wet (foglamps come on and drain the battery)

Help...

i would start by checking the a/c drain....it is located around the passengers side firewall. they are known to get plugged up and leak inside the vehicle.
