water leak on passenger side on 2002 Honda Civic

Whenever it rains water comes into the passenger side and pools on the floor. The dealer says that a body seem on the front wall is to blame and to repair it the fender has to be removed. Is there a way to solve or mitigate this problem without spending big bucks.

Sorry there are not too many things you can do to save time and money except try to do it yourself, ( and I do not recommend that ). Body related water leaks are very labor intensive, sometimes the complete interior of the vehicle needs to removed to diagnose and repair water leaks. It could even be the seal around the windshield, so properly pinpointing the leak source first, is a must.Good luck.
