On some models a void in the rear window seal may cause a water leak. Water may be present on or under the carpet. The seal will need to be replaced if that is the source.Google+

My 2008 ram 1500 rear window leaks. I have had dodge fix this problem 5 times. Twice they put a new window in, & its leaking worse than before they ever touched it. I have now got corporate involved. Its ridiculous that a window company cant install a window correctly after 5 attempts. I cant pee as fast as its leaking in. Im furious & checking into a lemon law.

Poured last night and found that my 05 Dodge Ram 2500 rear window leaks, also found this a very common problem, Dodge assume's no responsibility and denies it's a common issue'
After a Google search I find hundreds of post's with the same issue.

Same as others are reporting. Has been raining for three weeks here in California. Rear seat wells just keep filling up. Maybe since the truck is 8 years old the rear window seals are dried out ?
Unable to see where the leak is coming from though. I can feel dampness up the back of the carpet but can't see where the seal has failed.
Other long-term problem is the constant cupping of the tires despite religiously rotating them. Dealer told me I needed new shocks, ball joints and tie rod ends.....kind of weird that the truck had a recall on it back at 10,000 miles because Dodge said they forgot to put grease in the ball joints, drag link parts and tie rod ends. I brought it to Dodge and they said they replaced the parts. Wonder if they really did ?
Unfortunately the metal Ram decal has disappeared also....I guess the glue dried out or somebody pried off the metal decal.
Had to tighten up the driver and passenger sides hand holds....guess Dodge workers forgot to tighten those screws at the assembly line ?
The radio only pulls in a couple of FM radio stations....Guess they put in a cheap radio thinking customers will buy the XM/Sirus feature.....I didn't go for it.
Other kind of weird thing is this expanding blemish on the right passenger side headlight lens cover. Maybe there is moisture or mold growing in there ?
Well, I guess it is jus a Dodge after all.....can't expect too much from bailed out company.
Nice looking truck...has been reliable accept for above..... but don't think I will be a return customer.
