Question: water leak at rear side of the motor what stoped.

 Rookie

I have this 96 jetta GLS and it seems to be leaking water when I stop the car at the back side of the motor, I can see it but cant find where it is coming from any ideas?

    If you are running the a/c or the defrost sounds like water drain for the evaporator and would be normal as long as you are not losing coolant.

    another TRICK to finding the leak is regular baking flour (find the wet spot) as it's washed away easy with a hose.
