water beneath the air filter in the intake on 1996 Ford Thunderbird

I am getting a lot of water in intake beneath my air filter how do I fix this before it does engine damage I have been unable to find a detailed illustration of the correct installation to look for a drainage point

I remember seeing some of this in the mid-90's at the dealership, and I can't really remember what the solution was. I want to say there was a revised air tube or something. Some help, I know. Anyway - you are talking about water in your air filter box, right? I would be looking for reasons water is getting in. Definitely clean it out and monitor. If I can remember more I will post...

TY we cleaned it out it was also in the air intake tube leading to the air filter ..i am not sure where it comes out at maybe under the front bumper
