what color is the smoke? Bluish? How long does it smoke when you start it? is it just a puff of smoke, or does it last for a minute or so? Why did they tell you to wait?

i was told they still could be coolant in system i changed oil it is blue/white smoke maybe last a few seconds

blue/white smoke is burning oil not coolant. if you are burning coolant the smoke will be just white.
