The front brake rotors can warp and cause a vibration when braking. The rotors will need to be machined or in cases where they are worn to thin, replaced to correct this issue.

I just did a nice brake overhaul on my car. I had to replace both rear rotors and calipers, one caliper on the front, and pads all around. However the car does shake under hard/heavy breaking which leads me to believe I need to replace the front rotors as well.
