Warning Chimes on 2000 Lincoln Continental

A warning chime goes off in my Lincoln every time you start it up, it chimes five time, and repeats for a total of 25 chimes, then quits. It will do this occasionally during operation. It is coming from the light control box in the dash to the left of the steering column.

It is usually a defective seat belt switch. If the contacts get dirty, the car thinks that the seat belt is unlatched and the warning chime will sound. Try driving for a little bit with out your seat belt latched and see if the sounds is similar.
