Ward Service was opened by Stanley Ward in Old Town Pasadena in 1923. They moved into their current location in Monrovia in 2001. Great grandson Jim is now in charge, with three other family members still involved. Ward Service treats all of their customers like family, as indicated by their excellent Net Promoter Score of 80. Their motto has always been, "The best job is the job done right the first time." They have dealer-level diagnostic equipment and well trained, ASE certified technicians to make this happen. They work on all makes and models and are also a certified Smog Test and Repair Station.

  I have not yet visited this place but spoke with Terry, I told her I had just bought this car and wanted to have them check it, instead of brushing me off, she offered to check my car at reasonable price and also offered to drive me to work if I could not make it by the time they closed. I realy appreciate that she took the time. Thank you Terry I look forward to seeing you soon with my new/old volvo. Sylvia

  We have been taking our cars to Ward’s Service with absolute confidence for about 8 years. They have helped us with our regular service needs, and also with a variety of repairs. Wards is always professional and friendly. They have competently diagnosed and repaired our vehicles each time we have brought them in. Wards Service has also tested cars to help our children make decisions when purchasing used vehicles. We completely trust them for their valued opinion and mechanical expertise. It is always a pleasure to do business with Wards. We are happy customers.

  Took my wifes Jeep in (on a tow truck!) and they gave me a ride to work, fixed the car 100% (rear differential had fallen apart. I now take all my cars there. Excellent service. Highly recommend.

  We take all our cars to Ward Service because we trust them to do a great job. They do great work, the price is always reasonable, and I always get my car back quickly. I like that they always explain what is or isn't necessary. The extras like the shuttle and car washes make it even better. They are very friendly and I have recommended them to several friends

  This shop is like walking into an old time garage, where the owner greets you at the door. They take care of every little detail, even providing door to door service with their shuttle. They are honest, knowledgeable, and they do fantastic work. I highly recommend them.
