i took my car to this shop and now my car is worse than ever and keaton says its the parts guys fault. i am now stuck with no car and 3500 dollars in the hole and he wont fix it and is telling me that it is not his problem to take it up with the guy HE bought the parts from. please dont be fooled by his smart talk thats all it is just talk. the one review from ascarlott on this site is keatons mom april scarlott not even a customer. i am however a customer and i thought i was a friend also he said "no problem brother". i wonder if i was a friend how he treats people he doesnt know. i now had to talk to the parts guy who said he will refund the money for the motor that keaton told me was rebuilt but come to find out it was a junk used motor but that still leaves me 2000 dollars less and still no car. should have taken my car anywhere else and would have had a better result---
I took my vw there just wanting a regular tune up. Keaton talked to me and acted like he was very knowledgeable about the process and everything. Well when I got my car back it was running worse than when I brought it to him! He told me that it must be a parts problem and wanted me to either pay a second time for labor, or just take the car as is. So I took my car and went down to the dealership and they did a tune up on the car and now it is running great. Maybe I should have just taken the car down to the dealership in the first place. Very bad experience with this shop! Wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone at all. Just take your car to the dealership and pay the extra money they are quoting, at least the dealership won't mess your car up like this shop did to mine.
My name is April Scarlott. And while it is true that the owner is my son, the part about me not being a client is false.
I owned nothing but 5 series BMW's for almost 12 years until 2005, when I bought a Volvo, and then in 2006 I bought a Nissan Murano w/ a 3 year warranty which predicated that it could ONLY be worked on by certified Nissan Mechanics at their dealer. Prior to owning those two vehicles, my son was the ONLY mechanic I trusted with my BMW's.
From the year 1995 until I traded in my last BMW in 2005, my son Keaton replaced almost every part on one or the other of my cars. From radiators, to entire pulley systems, to brakes and engine harnesses, electrical system repairs, to simple (or not so simple with BMS's) oil and filter changes. He did it all. And NEVER ONCE did I have to take my car to someone else to follow up on any work he did. If I had, I would have never let him touch my car again ~ son or no son.
I am sorry to hear of your problems with W Auto works. I would encourage you to approach Keaton again and ask him to make things right. I am forwarding these comments to him as well in the hopes that a mutual solution can be reached.
