Some vehicles have a power steering hose that may rupture because of a manufacturing defect. If the hose ruptures, there would be a rapid loss of power steering fluid and power steering assist, increasing the risk of a crash.

We at RepairPal have designated this a high priority recall; the power steering hose may rupture without warning. Please contact your Volvo dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.

The master cylinder is the heart of the brake system. This is where the fluid is forced out to each wheel to activate each brake. On some vehicles, this master cylinder may leak internally and cause poor braking performance.

We at RepairPal have designated this a high priority recall; the brake system may develop problems at any time. Please contact your Volvo dealer. They will check to see if your specific vehicle is affected and advise you on what to do next. Always have your vehicle identification number (VIN) handy when you call.
