loud whining noise when car starts. when driving and turning whining noise. What is the correct type and cost to replace spark plugs someone quoted me $200 for spark plugs replacement he said use the most expensive ones around $20 a piece.
My car was running great the other day, then I was running low fuel, so I got some gas (93 octane as always). After leaving the gas station, I immediately noticed hesitation while accelerating. I drove for about a 1/2 mile, parked and turned the car off. Restarted, car still hesitated when driving. Drove for about 1 mile then the car started acting really bad. Finally, it gave up. As I pressed the gas more, it lost speed. I pulled over to the side of the road, and it just quit. For the next hour I was able to crank it, and it would run for about a second, then cut off. If I put the car in neutral (lower RPMs) it ran for about 2-3 seconds. Today, the car won't start, but was able to crank. I believe I have water in my gas, but I'm not totally sure.

how do I fix the glove compartment
I'm having a problem every so often that my Jetta's acceleration responds very slowly. I have had the car for a year, and it has 118,000 mi. on it. I've put on about 10,000 of those. I have not had this problem much before except a month and a half ago when I had to replace the Mass Airflow Sensor. The engine made a very loud rumbling noise at the time, which has not made since and is not making now. Right now it's just ocassional sluggish acceleration. I can make it accelerate faster by really punching the gas, but that makes the car shift really hard and the tachometer really jump. It has been about 0 degrees F lately (it's January in Minnesota), but I've started it up at -20 F without problems before.
Any suggestions on the sluggish acceleration?

I have a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0 4 cylinder. I bought it in March of 2007 with 36,000 miles or so and it has not given me much problem. Now, with 109,000 miles it needs a new timing chain, water pump, temperature sensor, thermostat, catalytic converter and a bracket welded. The total estimate is about $2,200.
Would you say it time to trade in my car?
Kelly Blue Book values is between $2,000 and $4,000, however, when I listed it for sales on Vehix they recommended over $8,000. Likewise, I am finding other 2003's with lower mileage in the $8,000 range.
Would you say it is time to trade it in?
It just did it all of a sudden everything is there, it just will not latch.
