2005 Honda CR-V Question: Vibrations when hitting a bump.

 Rookie

While driving at low speeds 20 to 45mph if I hit a bump on the road the car goes into a severe vibrations along with the steering wheel for about 10 -15 seconds until I leave of the gas pedal then it stops vibrating. It has about 60k miles.

    You say the problem occurs when you hit a bump or uneven pavement which sounds like bad shock absorbers. This sounds really dangerous and needs to be checked out as soon as possible. Could be anything from worn shocks, bad suspension ball joints worn suspension bushings ect....
    Do you see any signs of unusual tire wear or hear any unusual noises or banging, clunking sounds when you hit a bump or experience the vibration?
