2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Question: vibration noise in front end when decreasing speed from 65 to 55

verniepu, 4.7L V8, Montrose, CO, March 17, 2014, 19:02
 Rookie

drives smooth but when decreasing speed from 65 to 55 rough vibration sound from front goes away as speed settles

    Try it in and out of 4 wd. See if it makes any difference.

    it is not in 4wheel drive when it does this I let up on the accelerator noise and vibration comes and disappears at about 55

    It's to be sure the front axle is disengaging when it is not in 4x4!! It should sound and feel different in or out....just a test!!!
