I am experiencing a vibration that seems most noticable when starting from full stop, but does not completely go away at speed. It does not seem to get worse when you stomp the accelerator at speed. The motor also shakes a bit at idle. Trying to figure out if its motor mounts, flex discs, a tune up is needed? Any thoughts out there before I go to the shop? Thanks folks, Bryan

you will need to find a good local shop that specializes
in Mercedes. they will be able to inspect the car for a
mechanical source (motor mounts or flex disc) in a few
minutes. this is almost impossible without a lift and a
trained eye. plugs are changed at 30,000 miles; fuel filter at 60,000 miles. if you do not have a shop in mind, just ask other MB owners who they use. the shop should be full of MB's and no Chevy's or Camry's; you want the best guys, not the cheapest or the ones that say
they can work on anything with wheels.
