I have a 1995 Corrolla with 58,000 miles. It has the 1.6L engine with the 3 speed automatic trans. I know that this small motor will vibrate but it seems excessive at idle and slower road speeds. At 55mph or so it quiets down even though the engine is reving high due to the lack of overdrive. I had the engine and transmission mounts looked at and was told they look good. Exhaust checks out fine also. The engine runs very smoothly. The vibration seems to go through out the car even feeling it in the seats. I'm not sure if this is common with this model or not? Any help would be great!

Toyota motor mounts get hard over time unlike honda or nissan motor mounts, we sold quite a few of them at my parts store, even though they look good the rubber in the motor mount is so hard the dampening effect of the rubber is past its useful life, Usually its the right or passenger side mount is the one that needs to be changed. This should help with your motor mount problem.
