Vehicles With Remote Start May Encounter a Dead Battery After Sitting For a Few Days on Scion xB

Vehicles fitted with remote start may encounter a dead battery after sitting for a few days. This can be due to a parasitic draw caused by the remote start computer. Our technicians remind us proper diagnostic procedures should be followed before replacing the remote start module with an updated part.

I had an after market automatic starter installed in 2011 with a life time wareente. November of 2013 I blew up my module. They put in a whole new system. its happening again just three months later. Its getting so bad that sometimes my car tries to double start its self while its already running. then shuts off to battery mode. The place where i got the automatic starter installed told me this is the last time he will put it in.
