Question: Vehicle pulls to the right

Really 1988, I thought this was alignment maybe but a friend mentioned that one side may be the "drive" side of the axle which is split (?). I have had new tires and alignment done a year ago but still always pulls to the right HARD!

    Does your 1988 Mazda MX-6 pull to the right when driving a steady speed on a level road? Or does in pull to the right on acceleration? Pull at steady speed would most time be caused by tires or alignment, if that is the case having the alignment shop recheck their work may not be a bad idea. If you are pulling on acceleration that could be cause by what is called "torque steer". The is a trait of front wheel drive cars, some suffer more from this condition that others. If "torque steer" is what you are feeling this may be a normal condition for your Mazda.
