My car is locked in park. The owner's maual said to use the tool that came with the car to put it in drive. I did that. Now it is in "limp mode". If I go over 20 miles an hour the rpms are so high I'm afraid the motor is going to blow.

My car is in the shop now because it wont shift out of park and the brake lights wont come on. I am hoping this will not be an expensive fix as everything else usually is.
