Chrysler Crossfire Vehicle May Not Shift Out of Park if Brake Switch is Out of Adjustment

(11 reports)

If the brake switch (brake-shift interlock) is out of adjustment, the shift lever may not shift out of park.

My car is locked in park. The owner's maual said to use the tool that came with the car to put it in drive. I did that. Now it is in "limp mode". If I go over 20 miles an hour the rpms are so high I'm afraid the motor is going to blow. -
