1990 Dodge Ram Van B350 Question: Van stalling intermittenly

My van is hard starting sometimes and stalls sometimes while driving, other times it runs like a top. Is this a fuel filter problem of some sort?

    I have had the same problem, I checked for problems one eve (in the dark) and noticed that the coil was arking across the terminals and into the coil primary. I replaced the coil and the coil wire and it took care of the problem. (The old coil tested as good with no visable cracks by the way.)
