Question: Van doesn"t start

could anybody tell me why my 1998 dodge caravan doesn"t start when it's raininng. The van will crank but not start. when it"s not raining it starts right up.

    I would check your ignition wires and your coil pack, if they are worn, then they will shoot the spark to the nearest ground source when there is a moisture present, instead of sending it to the plugs. One way I test for bad plug wires, coil or coil packs, distributor cap etc is to spray a mist of water on them while the engine is running. If the engine misfires BINGO!!
