if they only clatter for 2 seconds I wouldnt worry about it but If your worried about it check your oil pressure when you first start it

I AGREE WITH GOODGUY. ALSO BE SURE TO USE RECOMMENDED SAE OIL AND IT'S HARD TO BEAT WIX OR NAPA GOLD FILTERS!
I THINK IT TAKES THE SAME FILTER FOR EITHER ENGINE. BEST TO GIVE ALL INFO

try an oil additive...lucas is good, it lubricates the walls and stays stuck on

How many miles on engine? Along with the other suggestions , timing chain tensioner appears to be hydraulic-- how much slop in the chain? Why is 'Alice In Chains'? DAFFY DUCK FOR PRESIDENT.
