Valve Seals on 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse

White smoke is coming from car (exhaust) and it needs valve seals replaced. How much should that cost and might there any related problems I should be aware of?

Who diagnosed the cause of the white smoke? I say this because it can also be the valve guides and/or the seals. Mitsubishi engines have some what of a weakness in this area. To redo- your cylinder head is about $2000. You have to remove it and then have a good machine shop re-do the guides an seals, BUT first have a good tech properly diagnose this problem, so you are sure it is a valve guide and seal problem and not the rings as well.
