VALVE COVER GASKETS on 1990 Ford F-150

DO I NEED TO TAKE THE INTAKE OFF TO REPLACE THE VALVE COVER GASKETS

If you mean the manifold, no. You do have to remove the engine air cleaner (big black tube).

No, The left valve cover is the easy one. It is the lid on the head. Take the cover off and you will see the gasket. The Right side is takes more work. You have to remove the all the throttle body.
