2005 Ford Escape Q&A

2005 Ford Escape Question: vacuum leak

my car on hte diagnotis computer has kicked out several codes.. they say they are bascially for vacuum leaks...cannot find leaks and do not have the money for the shop to fix the problem ($300 to $500). What else can I do? -
Answer 1
If you cannot fine the problem and cannot afford to pay a shop for the repair there is not much else you can do. If your 2005 Escape is running OK now your best option would be to drive you vehicle "as is" and try and save some money to have a shop look at the problem as soon as you can. -
Answer 2
your problem is the idle air control sensor...... its 51.99 at auto zone its right on top of the engine and if you tap it u will notice it run better! hope this helps -
