I have over 226k miles, car runs great - but want to ensure I am using the right oil.

    5W30 is your recommended viscosity. Learn it, live it, know it.

    Your car uses "screw adjusted valves" not hydraulic operated lifters. If your engine is not a VTEC engine and is burning oil I would use a higher viscosity oil at that mileage perhaps 20W50 and personally if you change the oil every 3000 miles on that engine good quality, non synthetic oil will be fine. I work on a lot of high mileage Hondas!
