You need a DVOM and a factory wiring diagram. If you don’t have both and some electronic testing knowledge you won’t be able to perform correct testing. First question are you using factory parts? If not could be the reason. A code only gives you a direction to diagnose the problem. A TPS code doesn’t always mean the sensor is bad but the fault is in that circuit. There could be many other things wrong that could cause that problem.
