when I change the water pump I try to take a short cut and wedged something in the timing chain before I depressed the tensioner. I thought that the oil pressure would send the tensioner back to where it needed to go. when I went to burp the motor and started it up there was no noise made. it would crank but not start. that's when I realized there was a oil and cylinder #1. I don't have the money to pay a mechanic and would like to fix myself but need advice. clearly I didn't have any when changing the water pump. advice would be appreciated greatly.
