Extreme conditions. What is that exactly? You should change your fluids at regular intervals becuase there is such thing as lifetime fluids. PS flush will certainly keep your steering rack in tiptop shape. Good luck
Soulds like your exhaust manifold gasket is starting to leak. The vibration is proble from out of balanced tires as previously stated. Just bring your car by to check the noise and trans fluid condition when you have time. Good luck.
Either the module or one of the wheel sensors has failed and the system detected it. The real problem is your ABS is not working at this time. You need to bring the vehicle to a shop that can diagnose the probelm and repair it so you have the brakes when you need them. The weather will be like this until March. Good luck.
Cats go bad when fuel is introduced into them. Oil too. We just replaced an engine that overheated and dumped the coolant into the exhaust system which went through the cat(s). After assembly we tested the cat and if failed. Before replacing the cat have all your other concerns addressed to keep the one working well. Happy Holidays
If you remove the radiator cap what do you smell. If you smell exhaust gases then you may have blown head gaskets. The compressed gases have been forced into the cooling jackets and displaced the coolant. What does the expanision tank look like? The thermostat is under the alternator not a joy to get at but doable if you take your time. If you need some more help just call. Happy Holidays.
You have parking brake shoes underneath the pads and rotors you see through the wheels. I would be curious to know how you wore out a set of shoes that do nothing but hold the car when parked. If you really need them: The total job to replace pads, rotors and new parking brake shoes and about $650. Just don't let the mechanic set the shoes too tight. You'll ruin the new rotor and the smell will be something to remember. Happy Holidays.
We would have to tap the bolt hole once we removed it. This repair is going to take some time and patience.
Bring it by the shop and we'll reset the light. P0442 is an evap code which makes sense since you had to tighten the fuel cap.
You may have to lift and support the engine several inches to clear the cross member. Most of these types of jobs take 5 hours with lifts and screw jacks. Good luck.
+1 for superbob! You need more info. When we pulla code from the computer we can follow a very specific decision tree and rule out of pinpoint the problem. If you have a bad clutch band it is in transmission and warrant a new/remanufactured unit.
