anyone at this site know anything about repairing a 4x4 front axle ?
sometimes it a bad fan control sensor-might want to chech it- hope this helps !
I thought this site was for real but I was wrong & most people only want answers but forget helping the other person- GOOD BYE.
have the gas sensor on the fuel pomp checked it can trick the computer into thinking you are out of gas.
sounds like the rack & pinion is worn- advise having it checked..........Dangerous. RAM
my 97 grand Cherokee did the same thing- my local mechanic finally found the wiring to the computer had a short- you can't get the "pig tails" at dealerships now but he did find them at a salvage shop from a Dodge pkp. and he spliced them in the main wiring. CAUTION....... there are 3 different types of computers on these Jeeps so be sure you match then to the correct one, hope this helps.
last Monday the vehicle sounded fine then on Tuesday morning as I pulled out the driveway is could hear the front axle growling- I checked to be sure I was in 2 wheel drive, all setting were A-Ok. no codes or any sensor on the display popped-up.
replaces hubs-no help
