Question Answered: Brakes
November 29, 2010, 03:45 PM
As Zee tech said. But, have this done professionally. Otherwise you may be just a little low on brake fluid and have picked up an air bubble. Finally, brake fluid may not be on the ground, how about spattered around the tire? If so, bad wheel cylinder/caliper and needs a rebuild kit. Should cost around 150 if a caliper/cylinder, more if a master. 50 will usually be enough to bleed them. First look on the tires for splattered oily residue (Brake fluid)

Question Answered: gear shift locked in park, eingine running- Engine light has come on this week
November 29, 2010, 03:40 PM
The gear shift locked in park is either due to the steering wheel being at an angle that keeps the mechanism under tension, or debris in the way of a smooth shift, one is free, one costs. The engine light could be gas cap, O2 sensor, vac sensor, PTC, Air filter, low oil, any of several things. Get it put on a diagnostic computer to find out for sure.
