With your vehicle running, disconnect the POSITIVE terminal of your battery. If your engine cuts off, your problem will most likely be the ALTERNATOR. Also...the alternator is what powers the battery. It charges the battery when it's running, therefore...another easy test is to do this....if the interior and dash lights come on really bright, but then slowly dim, then it indicates your alternator is the culprit. It means that the alternator is NOT feeding your battery because it's not keeping a charge when you're running it. Good luck!

Was the Co2 sensor the ONLY error code when you did the code test? Most likely there will be a few listed. If there are more codes....go down the line. Make sure you disconnect the negative battery cable to "Reset" the system 1st.

Wow! Sorry. I have not a clue about how to repair this problem, but the moment I do, I will share it with you. I have a 1998 Mitzu Eclipse & have the SAME problem! The right constantly flashes. Major annoyance. It was amazing seeing your post. I was told I needed to repair something in my steering wheel? Hope that helps. I will be following this so if you learn how, you let me know....yes? :D And hey...how about them "Door Handles"? lOl I'm about over climbing in through my hatchback.
