Starts fine when warm
after code po301 came on I was told to get a diagnostic test to see the exact problem. Where do i have that done? how much should it cost?
I have a 2003 Murano SL with 65,000 miles. I replaced the original tires with Michelins. I need to replace tires again, but I want to find which tires will give my car the smoothest quietest ride? It is not an AWD. I just want a smooth ride like it used to be.
So I took it to a VW repair shop who replaced the bushings. They said they rotated the tires left to right and say I have a bad tire and can't do an alignment until it is replaced. I will take the car back to Pep Boys because the tires are new. In the meantime when I leave the VW repair shop, my car vibrates unbelieveably. It was better before the bushings were replaced. the vibration stops at 25-30 mph, then it rides great. Car goes back to Pep Boys and they tell me they don't see where it is a bad tire. they balanced both of them and they say it's good. They said the vibration is because I need motor mounts Why is the vibration and rattles so much worse after the bushings were replaced?
Does anyone have know where I can find a used boot cover for an 01 Cabrio?
2001 Cabrio- Cruise control stopped working. Does this run on a cable or could it be a fuse?
What causes drops of water to come out of the muffler after I start it up? Since this started, the muffler seems to vibrate also
Does anyone know where i can find a convertible boot cover for a 2001 Cabrio? Is there another name for them?
I am told the bushings need to be replaced on a 2001 Cabrio. Is this the same as a tie rod, or control arm?
My 2003 Murano has 60,000 miles on it but rides terrible. i have taken it to the shop 3 times and said it feels so rough, doesn't take bumps well, and is no longer a smooth ride. i got 4 new tires, alignment, and had them check the shocks. nobody knows why it bounces around. The dealer tells me it that both lower control arms are cracked and wants $900. I took it to pep Boys, and a local repair shop- both of them say they don't see it but don't know the problem. "shocks may need to be replaced but are not leaking". i took it to the dealer for a recall, and again they tell me to replace both control arms. if this is the logical answer, why does no other shop see this problem?
