Sometimes when you turn when you park there is tension on the wheels. It will lock the steering wheel. You have to put the key in and turn the wheel to unlock it. You have to put more pressure on the steering wheel than the tires are.

check the master swtch on the door for line damage.

Is there an excess amount of water coming out of your exhaust?Did you flush the radiator? Also an over heating problem could make the water pump go bad also.

Check the wire harness for a split or fray. The line may be arching power. It has been known to happen with GM cars.

Are you sure it was the fuel pump that was bad. You are to vague? Feed us more.

1 Look at your locking mech. Does it open and not push the seat? Then go under the seat. If something is wedged in the console or tracking below the seat it can prevent it. Several drinks spilled can also make it really gummy. 2 It has a sock in the tank. A canister possibly on the framerail on the drivers side. The older ones had one between the carb and the framerail.
