it could be the cause do to the transmission mounts leting the trans move to much.

no you cant. you have to pull the transmission from the bottom to get to the clutch

i would take it back to the shop or a shop have them double check the work, and yes sometimes when rplacing a half on a older car it can cause the seal to leak where its old.u should replace seal to avoid futher transmission issues.

you should drain your oil in a pan and look for metal. sound like you may have internal bearing failur or a bad oil pump. also chech the wiring harnes for the oil switch for shorted to ground.

i would check and see what type od fluid was used nissans are very senstive to trans fluid. i would suggest usind nissan numatic -j trans fluid from local dealer
